Albert Lee Cox

Albert Lee Cox age 72 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at his home.

He was born August 18, 1952 in Woodbine, Iowa to the late Byron Cox and Erma (Archer) Cox. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Rodney Cox.

Surviving family include his wife, Hazel (Eagelton) Cox; his children, Kay Jarecki, Byron Cox, Charles Lynch, Donald Lynch, and Carol Lynch; brothers, Harold Cox and Bob Cox; and lots of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Albert enjoyed going to church and worship gatherings. He also enjoyed science fiction and loved his dogs and caring for his family.

Per the family’s wishes, Albert will be cremated.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
