Amanda Elizabeth Collins age 43 of Georgetown, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home. She was the beloved mother to her four children, John, Brianna, Dylan, and Colton.

Amanda was born May 22, 1977 in Prestonburg, Kentucky to Tim and Sandy Barker and was a gradaute of Johnson Central High School. She was a longtime employee at Lowes of Georgetown where she made many friends that became her family, even after she left employment. 

Preceding her in death is a brother, Robert Gene Diamond; grandparents, Delmer "Gene" Stephens, Carolyn Stephens, Fred Almedia, and Emery Barker; an uncle, Gary Wayne Stephens; and her honorary uncle, Robert (Uncle Bob) Prater.

Surviving family include her precious children; her parents; grandmother, Beatrice Barker; siblings, Tina Hiser (and Craig), Billy Diamond (and Kristy), Haley Jo Ramey, Steven Barker (and Shawnta), Dana Griffin (and DJ), Michele Troxell (and Toby), Timothy Barker, Matthew Barker; and her honorary sisters, Krystal Warren and Crystal Carroll. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly. 

Amanda will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, sweet gentle heart, and her fierce love for her children. She will sadly missed.


Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday after 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. 
 

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
