Bernard "Bunky" Dalton

Bernard “Bunky” Dalton, age 63, husband of Diana (Hardwick) Dalton of Strunk, Kentucky passed away Tuesday August 18, 2015 at his home in Strunk, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.

Bunky was born on November 10, 1951 to the late Bernard and Christine (McQueen) Dalton.

Surviving family include his wife Diana Dalton, of Strunk, Kentucky; a stepdaughter Pj Bruce and husband Geoff of Marshes Siding, Kentucky. A young man that he treated and claimed as a son John Thomas and wife Marissa of Charlotte, North Carolina. Three grandchildren Ryan Bruce, Alexa Bruce, and Dalton Thomas, and also a special friend Charles “Chuck” King.

Bunky was a retired school teacher from McCreary County Board of Education, after that he taught at Pine Knot Job Corps. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, watching golf on TV, and also watching Kentucky basketball.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.
