She entered this life on September 3, 1939 in the Margo community to the late Lindsay and Myrtle (Watters) Winchester. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by two infant children; Brothers, Johnson, Doyle, Bob, Joe, and Coleman Winchester, an infant brother; and a sister, Susie Winchester.

Betty is survived by her husband, Bill Duncan of 60 years; a son, William Duncan and daughter-in-law Teresa Duncan of Somerset; a daughter-in-law Pamela Duncan of Whitley City; a sister, Geneva Winchester Wilson and a sister in law Vella Winchester both of Pine Knot.

Betty dedicated her life to God and her family. She was a member of the South Pine Knot Church of God. She enjoyed her animals, hand quilting, cooking, fishing, and loved to watch Westerns. Betty was the happiest while spending holidays with her family. While she would always cook a feast for all holiday gatherings, her favorite was always Christmas. She loved to decorate, going all out with lights, gifts, and of course food. Betty was truly a selfless and giving person. She will be deeply missed by many.
