BETTY JO FRY

Betty Jo Anderson Fry, age 74, of Somerset, formerly of Pine Knot passed away Friday, November 13, 2015, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Betty was born in McCreary County on August 12, 1941, to the late Luke Edward and Esther Ola (Ryan) Anderson.  She is preceded in death by four sisters: Beulah Eastlick, Mildred Joan Hamm, Nellie Aletha Ogden and Tavy Helen Vogelsang and five infant brothers.

Surviving family include two daughters  Angela Corder (husband Thomas) of Somerset, Kentucky, and Sonja Fry of Saltillo, Tennessee.  She has five grandchildren: James Michael Lay (wife Alisha), Christopher Dustin Lay, Bryson Dane Fry (wife Courtney),  Natalie NaKayla Coffey (husband Kyle), and Lindsay West (husband Dustin.  There are six great-grandchildren: Dylan Harper Lay, Chloe Rae Lowe, Carter Roark, Aubrey, Ava, and Adaline West.

Betty had been a certified nurses assistant having last worked at Britthaven Nursing Home in Somerset.  She was a Hospice volunteer with Hospice of Lake Cumberland and was a part of the Senior Friends hospital staff at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  Her favorite pastime was reading.

Burial:  Anderson Cemetery, Strunk, Kentucky
