Betty Sue (Strunk) Spradlin

Betty Sue (Strunk) Spradlin, age 74, of Winfield, Tennessee, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

She was born in Winfield, Tennessee, on June 8, 1947, to the late Louie and Madeline (Chitwood) Strunk. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Spradlin, a brother, Lloyd Strunk, two nephews: Donald Strunk and Carl James Strunk, Jr. and nieces, Patsy Strunk Stephens and Kenlee Duncan.

Surviving family include six brothers and sisters: Anna Lou Strunk of Strunk, Kentucky, Johnny Lee Strunk (Betty) of Strunk, Carl Strunk (Opal) of Winfield, Delmon Strunk (Phyllis) of Winfield, Elmon Strunk (Alene) of Winfield, and Benny Strunk (Jenny) of Strunk, and a sister-in-law, Anna Strunk of Strunk.

Betty was a homemaker and member of Isham United Baptist Church. She enjoyed feeding birds and all the animals that came to her house. She loved animals of all kinds and her pets, Lady and Snoopy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Richard May and John L. Strunk officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Silerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until time for services at 2:00 p.m.
