Betty R. Witt

Betty R. Witt passed away on March 20, 2017, loving wife of J.D. Witt. Born Betty Lovett on January 17, 1935, she was 82.

Betty grew up in Pine Knot, Kentucky and married her high school sweetheart in August of 1954. After J.D.'s graduation from Eastern Kentucky University they moved to Hialeah, Florida.

Mrs. Witt went on to graduate from University of Miami and received her Masters in Mathematics from Nova. She went on to teach mathematics at Hialeah High School for over 30 years.

Mrs. Witt is survived by her husband J.D., sons, James "Rusty" Witt, Allen Witt, daughter-in-law Diane, granddaughter Cristy Witt and sister, Lenette West Webb.

In accordance to Mrs. Witt’s wishes, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
