Beulah F. Ball

Mrs. Beulah F. Ball, age 92 of Bethel Road in Pine Knot, passed away on Monday December 15, 2008 at the McCreary Health and Rehab Center in Pine Knot. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 18, 2008, at 1pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Arnold officiating. Burial followed in the Flat Rock Cemetery. Mrs. Ball was born in Orme, Tennessee on November 11, 1916, to the late Jack C. and Melinda Payne Rollins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lymon Ball, who died December 13, 1965, five sons; Bobby, Bill, Hollis Lee, Roger Dale and Eugene Ball, four brothers; Buford, Hamp, Doug, and Arlin Rollins, as well as a twin sister, Bertha Williams, and two other sisters Louisa Roberts and Laura Rollins. There is also a deceased grandchild. Survivors include two sons, Barry Lynn "Pete" Ball of Stearns, and Jack Ball of Ohio. And 5 daughters, Alice Funk and her husband Leonard of Sydney, OH, Velma Cress and her husband Sonny of Bronston, KY, Nancy Ball of Ohio, Martha Johnson of Pine Knot, and Dioma Lovett and her husband Ronnie of Pine Knot. There are 27 grandchildren and many great, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Ball enjoyed painting, embroidery and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She served her Lord as a member of the Church of Christ. She leaves a host of friends and family who will greatly miss her, as well as a legacy handed down for generations to come. Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
