Billy South

William “Billy” South, age 63, of Pine Knot, passed away Saturday, March  25, 2017, at his home.

Billy was of the Baptist faith, he loved hunting, fishing and loved all animals especially his dogs.  He truly enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was born May 4, 1953, to the late Rev. Dode Ross and his wife Myrtle King Ross. 

Surviving family include the mother of his children, Judy Ross of Oneida, TN, son, Wayne Ross and wife April of Oneida, TN., daughters: Angelia Ross of Oneida, TN., Anita Spradlin and husband Jimmy of Strunk, KY. a sister, Virginia C. Hotton, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, grandchildren: Megan Massengale, Kirby Ross and Cierra Ross, great-granchildren: Brayden and Kyson Massengale.

Billy will be cremated and a memorial service will be planned for a later time.,  The family has asked that anyone wanting to donate to help with the expenses to please make donations at the funeral home.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is entrusted with the service for Billy South.
