Bonnie June Ball

Bonnie June Ball, born January 3, 1939, daughter of the late Lloyd and Nevada (Baird) Neal, left this walk of life on Friday, May 16, 2025 to be with our Lord Jesus Christ and her loved ones who are already gone on. Bonnie was 86 years, 4 months, and 13 days.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her loving husband, Glen Lee Ball whom she married December 23, 1955; brothers, Harold, Manuel, Daniel, and Dallas Neal; a sister, Magalene Neal; an aunt, Sally Baird, who raised her from birth due to the death of her mother; one nephew, Jerry Neal; and a special cousin, Delsie Farren.

Surviving family include her daughters, Donna Keith (and Fitz) of Strunk, Kentucky and Gina Morris (and Kevin) of Louisville, Kentucky; sons, Gary Ball (and Shelly), of Strunk, Kentucky and Gregory Ball (and Debbie) of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Tonya Maxey (and Tony), BJ Johns, Michelle Wright (and Andrew), Joshua Keith (and Jessica), Avie Keith, Jada Keith, Jeremy Ball (and Kristin), Nicki Irvan (and Ben) Leah Jones (and Ken), Michael Ball (and Nicole), Matthew Morris (and Christina), Adam Morris (and Emily), Maja Sims (and Spencer), Hannah Boswell (and Matt), Desiree Ball, and Shayna Ball; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Bonnie also leaves behind 3 nephews, Stephan, Jimmy, and Danny Neal; a host of cousins, friends, and a very special friend, Pernie West, whom she loved dearly. They were always there for each other, like two peas in a pod.

Bonnie loved going to church. She was a great servant of the Lord. She never met a stranger and would always welcome anyone in her home. She loved her animals and sewing. Bonnie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Landon Sexton officiating and a grandson, Jeremy Ball, providing the Eulogy. Bonnie will be laid to rest in the Ball Family Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Neal providing words of comfort. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
