Bonnie Ruth Kirk

Bonnie Ruth Kirk age 70 years and 19 days of the Mill Creek Community in Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Baptist Health of Corbin after a long battle of health issues.

She was born April 15, 1948 in South Haven, Michigan to the late William and Della (Archer) Wilkey. Bonnie is also preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Wilkey, Grady Wilkey and Leo Todd, and a sister, Vadell Adams.

Bonnie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul Kirk, whom she married June 20, 1987; daughters Cinnamon Stineman and husband, Richard, of Parkers Lake, Velvet Reynolds also of Parkers Lake, and step-daughter, Deborah Smith of Florida; her step-sons, Kenny Kirk and Kevin Kirk, both of Florida; a half-brother, Leon Todd of California; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Bonnie was a member of the Mill Creek Methodist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. She also enjoyed planting flowers, doing arts and crafts, and flea marketing. Bonnie also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Mill Creek Methodist Church with Bro. Ronnie Decker officiating. Burial is to follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday after 11:00 am until time for services.
