Bonnie Lou Swain, age 62, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at her home in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 7, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home  with Bro. Daniel Ridener officiating.  Special music  by Chrissy Swain and Israel Clark.  Burial will follow at the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.  

Bonnie was born August 26, 1952, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to the late Delmer and Annie Ruth (Hicks) Ridner.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Leslie Swain, a son Leslie “George” Swain, three brothers; Earnest, Jerry Dale and Jeffrey Ridner, and three sisters; Alma Higginbotham, Delois “Lois” Vanover and Brenda “Big Bill” Perry. 

Surviving family include one son Randy Swain and wife Ann of, Whitley City, Kentucky, two daughter Melissa Ridner and husband Douglas and Fonda Vanover and husband Ralph both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, one brother; Ranzy Ridner and Phyllis of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and five sisters; Offie “Dorie” Goodin, Affie “Jude” Rose and George, Patricia Ridner and Manuel, and Kathy Ridner, all of Parkers Lake and Eleanora Mitchell of Waynesburg, Kentucky, eight grandson Jacob Vanover, Kyle Ridner, Dawson Swain, Christian Vanover, Devyn Ridner, Kaleb Vanover, Bryson Ridner and Carlos Goins, and one great grandson.

Pine Knot funeral Home assisted the family of Brenda Perry in her funeral arrangements.
