BRENDA DEAN MORGAN

Brenda Dean (Cannada) Morgan, age 70, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in Florence, Kentucky.

Born March 18, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Geraldine (Pelcha) Cannada.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Cannada and sister-in-law, Deborah Cannada.

Surviving family include her husband of 53 years, Wendell Morgan, two daughters: Beverly Phillips (Lenny) of Florence, Kentucky, and Katrina Morgan of Strunk, Kentucky, and son Matthew Morgan.  Brothers: Terry D. Cannada (Joyce) of Pine Knot and Ernest Dwayne Cannada of Norwood, Ohio. Her sisters-in-law are Phyllis Sammons, Barbara Trammell and Susan Watson and brothers-in-law, Ronnie Dean Morgan and Allen Wayne Morgan.

There are five grandchildren: Adam, Kailey, Lucas, Christopher, and Kiri Deana Louise, and two great grandchildren: Andrea and Braylee as well as many nieces and nephews.

Brenda was a homemaker who loved her children and caring for them.  She enjoyed singing and had a beautiful voice.  In her pastime, she like to play cards, watch Hallmark movies and do puzzles.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Les Gilreath and Bro. Brent Ford officiating.  Visitation will be from  11:00 a.m. Monday until time for services..  Burial will be at the Hickman Cemetery
