Brenda (Ridner) Perry, age 59, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, at The UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church in Parkers Lake with Bro. Daniel Ridener officiating. Special music was by Chrissy Swain. Burial was at the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.
Brenda was born June 6, 1955, in Somerset, Kentucky, to the late Delmer and Annie Ruth (Hicks) Ridner. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a very special grandson whom she cared for until his death Dalton Perry, granddaughter Takiyah Ridner, three brothers; Earnest, Jerry Dale and Jeffrey Ridner, and two sisters; Alma Higginbotham, and Delois “Lois” Vanover.
Surviving family include three daughters Melinda Perry, Tabatha Ridner and husband Rick, Rebecca Staley and husband Rodney all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, one brother; Ranzy Ridner and Phyllis of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and five sisters; Offie “Dorie” Goodin, Affie “Jude” Rose and George, Bonnie Swain, Patricia Ridner and Manuel and Kathy Ridner, all of Parkers Lake and Eleanora Mitchell of Waynesburg, Kentucky, seven granddaughters with Brandi Perry, Kelia Perry, Kayla Perry, Chelsey Daugherty and husband Camaron, Cassandra Perry, Shania Staley, Shavonna Staley, two grandsons J.T. Ridner and Desmond Staley. Brenda also cared for her special granddaughter Brandi until her death. There are many nieces and nephews, other family and friends left to mourn his passing.

Mamaw its been 9 months without I don't know how Ill live I miss you so much already but, it was time for you to go. I'm so glad your with Dalton but why did you have to go. You have other grand children that now have to live without you. I miss you so so much, I lye awake at night only thinking about you, Fly high to heaven don't worry about us we will be okay now that we know your save. I think a piece of me died with you. R.I.P My Dear Sweet Aunt, no more suffering. no more pain. Angel looking down on us now.You left this Earth way too soon and you will be greatly missed by your children, grandchildren, brother, and sisters, and a whole host nieces and nephews.I miss so much already..
