CAROL MARIE PHILLIPS

Mrs. Carol Marie Phillips, age 73, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at her home in Oneida.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at Pine Knot Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 a€" 8 p.m. Burial will be at the Troxell Cemetery in Oneida Friday morning at 11:00.

Born October 30, 1938, in McCreary Co. KY, she was the daughter of the late William and Ada (Coffey) Clark. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Darrell Dean Clark. Surviving family include her husband Palm T. Phillips, Oneida, four daughters; Cynthis Yancey and Jeff, Helenwood, Reda Elliott and Richard William III, Elgin, Trina Terry and Rick, Oneida and Misty Jeffers and Pete, Oneida. She had two surviving brothers; Harold Clark and Angie, Stearns and Gary Clark and Betty of Stearns, and a sister Ruth (Clark) King and Ralph of Cabot, Arkansas. She was blessed with three granddaughters; Kaysha Terry and Daysha and Abbie Jeffers.

Carol had just recently retired as a cook from Burchfield Elementary. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church. She enjoyed going to church, sewing, gardening, taking care of her grandchildren and cooking.
