Cathy Jean Caldwell

Cathy Jean Caldwell, age 73, of Huntsville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. Born July 19, 1953, in Oneida, she was the daughter of the late Verlon and Cora Smith Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Sharon Reed Boyatt, Teresa Bridges, Ricky Caldwell, Wendell Caldwell, and Karen Crabtree.

Cathy is survived by her children: Shonda, Aaron and Shannon; siblings: Loretta Thompson, Anita Barrett, Randall Caldwell, Darlene Ray, Wanda King, Wesley Caldwell and Mark Caldwell; grandkids: Taylor, Roger, Justin, Molly, Bryson and Shyann; great grandkids: Everly, Trinity and Malia; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Caldwell family on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Caldwell officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery in Helenwood, TN.
