Cindy Jean Bruce

Cindy Jean Bruce, age 42, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the University of Louisville Health Jewish Hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24, at 3:00 p.m. at the Sherd Dobb Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00  to 2:30 p.m. at Pine Knot Funeral Home.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 7, 1983, to the late Nickie Lee and Bessie Jane (Perry) Jones.

Surviving family include two sons: Tyler Bruce (Taylor) of the Corder Flats Community in Strunk, Kentucky, and Ethan Bruce of the Jones Hollow Community of Stearns, Kentucky. There are two daughters; Amanda Davis (Nathan) of the Sandhill Community of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Aleah Bruce of the Jones Hollow Community. She has a sister, Rosa Simpson (Rodger) of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She has three grandchildren: Kelse Davis, Marley Davis and Carter Davis.

Cindy loved her grandchildren and being outdoors. She loved city life in Louisville and she liked to listen to Rap music. Her children said she was OCD.
