David Johnnie Morrow

David Johnnie Morrow, age 64, husband of Deidra Morrow, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 in Somerset, KY.  David was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed attending Grace & Truth Tabernacle Church, where he always felt very welcomed.  David was a volunteer fire fighter, service worker and instructor for McCreary County EMT, Deputy Sheriff for over ten years, he worked under Gibson and Swain, during their administration.  He loved Nascar Racing and was the personal assistant to JD Stacy.  David also was a self-employed Truck Driver, enjoyed travel, fishing, hunting, camping but his greatest joy was his family, children and grand-children.

David was preceded in death by his parents; Johnnie and Dova Coffey Morrow, brothers; Eugene and Ernie Morrow.

In addition to his loving wife of 36 years, Deidra, whom he married September 20, 1986, he leaves behind a son; Trever and wife Latasha Morrow of Pine Knot, daughter; Tiffani and husband Jonathan of Stearns, KY., brother; Scottie and wife Kim Morrow of Stearns, KY., sister; Joyce Borders of Pine Knot, grandchildren;  Raylyn, Maverick, Jeremiah and Noah who is on the way.

Visitation for David is Tuesday, August 16, beginning at 5:00 pm, with funeral service on Wednesday, August 17, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home.  Rev. William Kilby is officiating and burial will follow in Pine Knot Cemetery.
