Delmer Bryant

Delmer Bryant, age 69, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Born December 22, 1946, in Pine Knot, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Dewey F. and Martha (Murphy) Bryant.  He is also preceded in death by his wife Gloria Sue Bryant and a granddaughter Ava Grace Bryant.

Surviving family include two sons: Dewey Bryant and wife Misty and David Bryant and wife Frieda both of Pine Knot; three brothers Darrell Bryant and wife Judy, Dillard and wife Racheal both of Pine Knot, and Bobby Bryant of Nicholasville, Kentucky; one sister Betty Hammock of Whitley City; and a very special friend June Richardson. Delmer is also survived by two grandchildren Gloria and Raylan Roger Bryant.

Delmer was a repairman/electrician by trade. He was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Delmer enjoyed fishing, gardening, and raising hogs and chickens.

Funeral services: Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Pine Knot Funeral Home.

Burial at the New Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
