Doris A. Kidd

Doris A. Kidd, age 88, of Strunk, Kentucky passed away June 23, 2015 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

She was born in Stearns, Kentucky to the late Johnnie T. and Luria M. Kidd.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leamon Kidd; a beloved son Roger D. Kidd; an infant daughter Terry A. Kidd; a brother Theodore Kidd’ a sister Gloria D. Kidd; and her in laws Hobert Kidd and Sue Kidd.

She was a member of the Lower Hickory Grove United Baptist Church.

Doris is survived by her son Ronnie L. Kidd and wife Patsy of Strunk, Kentucky; her daughter Vicky Stephens and husband Tim of Richmond, Kentucky; her grandchildren Darren Kidd and wife Carla of Stearns, Kentucky, Tonya Corder and husband Eric of Strunk, Kentucky, LeAnne Branstetter and husband Travis of Sunbright, Tennessee, Marlena Powell and husband Noble of Berea, Kentucky, and Ashley Fisher and husband Rodney of Richmond, Kentucky, great grandchildren Chelsea Clark and husband Will, Katlyn Kidd, Blake Corder, Brady Corder, Dawson Branstetter, Cole Branstetter, Isabella Branstetter, Madeline Powell, and Owen Powell, one great great granddaughter Cora Anne Clark; a sister Joyce Ann Jones and husband Billy of Georgia. Also surviving are several nephews, nieces, and many other relatives.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 4:00pm in the chapel of the Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Darren Kidd officiating with burial to follow in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until funeral time. Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Doris A. Kidd with her funeral arrangements.
