Dylan Lowe age 9, of Pine Knot passed from this life on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

He was born on October 19, 2011 in Somerset, Kentucky to Lacey Kilby and Dustin Lowe.

Surviving family include his parents, his brothers, Brokiah Kilby and Kycen Lowe, his grandmother, Phyllis Stephens and her fiancé, John Cloyd, his grandfather, Billy Lowe, and his best friend, Collin Sexton.

Dylan is preceded in death by his “poppy”, Robert Lee “Moe” Stephens and his grandmother, Judy Lowe.

Dylan was a 4th grade student at the Pine Knot Elementary School, where he enjoyed writing stories for his teachers. He loved music and was an avid ACDC fan. Dylan loved to play the guitar, write songs, sing songs, and perform. Music was his life. Dylan also enjoyed attending church with his family, especially his papaw. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. William Kilby officiating. Burial to follow in the Kilby Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 1:00 pm until service time.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
