Edward "Eddie" Cordell

Edward “Eddie” Cordell, age 66, passed from this life on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at his home in Revelo, Kentucky.

He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on December 10, 1949, the son of Loyd “Pete” and Sadie (Kidd) Cordell.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Matthew Cordell, brother David Cordell, and sister Penny Carter.

Surviving family include his two sons Nathaniel and Seth Cordell both of Revelo, a sister Melissa Stanley and husband Sterling of Tunnel Hill, Georga. Also a host of grandchildren survive.

Eddie retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation as Superintendent.  He was a member of the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services:  2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Pine Knot Funeral Home

Burial: Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery

Visitation: Monday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
