Ella Irene Luton

Ella Irene Luton age 74 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at her home. 

She was born on April 2, 1952 in Creekmore, Kentucky to the late Arnold Meadows and Della (Musgrove) Meadows. In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Rick" Luton; and brothers, Orville Lee, Paul, Roger, Ernest, Larry, Kenneth, and Carl Meadows. 

Surviving family include her daughters, Lisa Lehmann (and Nick) and Jennifer Yancey; brothers, Bob Meadows and Gary Meadows; sisters, Sandra Meadows and Barbara Stanfill; grandchildren, Jay Lehmann (and Alyssa), Blake Lehmann (and Olivia), Amber Caywood (and Andrew), and Chase Yancey; and great-grandchildren, Emmy, Scarlett, Evelyn, and Danielle. 

Irene was a homemaker and was very artistic. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and following along with Bob Ross on the television. She also loved animals and would go out of her way to care for them. Irene will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with her grandson, Bro. Blake Lehmann officiating. Burial to follow in the Meadows Cemetery on Osborne Creek. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 11:00 am until service time.
