ERNEST MEADOWS

Mr. Ernest Meadows, age 65, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at his home in Strunk, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Taylor officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Meadows Cemetery on Osbourne Creek. Visitation will be Friday from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Meadows was born in Creekmore, Kentucky, on October 20, 1946. He is the son of the late Arnold and Della Musgrove Meadows. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a son Jamie Meadows, five brothers; Orville, Paul, Roger Lee, Larry and Kenneth Meadows. Surviving family include three sisters; Barbara Stanfill, Irene Luton, and Sandra Meadows and three brothers; Carl, Gary, and Bob Meadows, all of Strunk, Kentucky. He has one grandson; Larry Wayne Myers.

Ernest had been a log home builder and did a lot of landscaping. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and digging wild roots.
