FAYE DOPLE

Faye Dople, age 74, of the Bethel Community in Pine Knot passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24,at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Cook officiating. Burial will be at the T. Chitwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Faye was born in Stab, Kentucky on April 18, 1939. Her parents were Bates and Bertha (Jones) Perkins. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joe C. Dople, a daughter Gail Myers, and three sons Jessie M Dople, Rick Joe Dople and Dwain Dople, a brother Jackie Earl Perkins, and two sisters Ruth Lee Perkins and Lois Smith.

Remaining family include three daughters; Janet Roberts, Donna Davenport and Barb Slaven, seven sons; Jerry, Jeffery, Wendell, Stanley, Connie, Teddy and Charlie Dople, a brother Billy Ray Perkins, two sisters Mary Lou Yager and Susie Huff. Faye had 40 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Faye was a homemaker and member of the Davis Hill Church of God as well as a member of the McCreary County Republican Party. She loved and was loved by all her family, and will be greatly missed.
