FLOSSIE LITTON

July 4, 1950 — January 25, 2013

Flossie Litton, age 62 of Pine Knot, passed away on Friday January 25, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Hayes Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

Born at Duck Run, Kentucky on July 4, 1950, she is the daughter of the late Ancil Lee and Edna Cox Bryant. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Sherman Stephens and her second husband Verlin Litton, a sister, Katherine Conatser, an infant sister Janet Sue Bryant and 2 infant brothers.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Jeffrey Lee Stephens (Liza) and William Arless Stephens (Debbie) both of Strunk. 2 step daughters, Rhonda Litton of Knoxville, Tennessee and Sandra Paulson of Pine Knot.

There are 3 brothers, Clifford Bryant (Aggie) of Pine Knot, Curtis Bryant of Whitley City and Leonard Bryant (Debbie) of Corbin, KY. There is step brother, Johnny Hanson (Amanda) of Pine Knot. She has 3 sisters, Margaret McVay (Steve) and Pauline Stephens both of Williamsburg and Nettie Murphy (Gary) of Pine Knot. There is step sister Lena Kay Slavey (Walt) also of Pine Knot. There are 5 grandchildren: Thomas Stephens, Emmiline Stephens, William Brock Stephens, Sabrina Moses and Cody Stephens. There are 2 great grandchildren: Aliyah Richardson and Alice Richardson also surviving.

Flossie enjoyed her yard work, flowers and sewing. She had been a seamstress for Lyon Apparel, McCreary Mfg as well as LeSportsac.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Ms. Flossie Litton in her funeral arrangements.
