Frederick Alan Klusmeier, "Fred," age 53, of Pine Knot, Ky. left this Earth for his eternal home on July 25th, 2026. Fred leaves behind his wife and best friend, Becky (Stephens) Klusmeier, whom he married on July 24th, 2010. Fred and Becky were married for 16 years and were also childhood sweethearts at the ages of 16 and 13.

Fred has survived by his wife, Becky (Stephens) Klusmeier of Pine Knot, Ky.; a son, Ricky Klusmeier (McKenna); a daughter, Halee Jones (Ashton); 2 granddaughters, Penelope and Piper Jones, all of Jacksonville, Fl.

Fred leaves behind his parents, Phillip and Linda Klusmeier of Bowling Green, Ky; four brothers, David Klusmeier and Steve Klusmeier of Jacksonville, Fl; Paul Gradwell and Scott Gradwell of Central Point, Or.; one sister, Dena Hilton (Mike) of Central Point, Or.; a special sister-in-law, Leah Stanfill (Danny) of Pine Knot, Ky, a special brother-in-law, Phillip Stephens, Pine Knot, Ky; his two best friends, Mike McLaughlin of Atlanta, Ga. and Jason Foster of Stearns, Ky.; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other friends and family who will all mourn his passing and miss him greatly.

Fred never met a stranger and he was always the first to help anybody at any time of day or night. He enjoyed helping others more than anything. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with friends, boating, camping, riding side by sides, and most of all, he enjoyed laughing, pulling pranks on everybody, and being a jokester, loved by all. There was never a dull moment with Fred around. If he could have told everybody goodbye he would have said, "Bye Felicia!"

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Dixon officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until time for services at 6:00 p.m. Burial to follow in the Klusmeier Gardens in Pine Knot.
