OBITUARY FOR Fred L. McCoy

Mr. Fred L. McCoy , age 72, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 14, 2008.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date at his home town in Clemmons, North Carolina.

Mr. McCoy was born in Welch, West Virginia, on May 25, 1936, to Vester and Claudia Morgan McCoy. He had worked for many years as an iron worker and enjoyed playing golf. He served in the United States Air Force and lived most of his life in Florida. After retiring, he moved to McCreary County. His father Vester McCoy precedes him in death. His mother Claudia McCoy lives in Clemmons, North Carolina. He has two sons and two daughters. Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
