GARY EUGENE WATSON

Mr. Gary Eugene "Moe" Watson, age 49 of Stearns, passed away on Monday March 16, 2009.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. The family will recieve friends on Wednesday from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on November 7, 1959 to the late Lester Walter and Edna Marie Dixon Watson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Karen Frost.

Survivors include 2 daughters; Reba Sumner and her husband Homer of Marshes Siding and Christina Watson of Stearns. 2 brothers; Jeff Watson and his wife Lisa and Ronnie Watson and his wife Berdena both of Stearns. There is a sister, Virginia Mae, "Jill" Strunk of Stearns. There are 4 grandchildren.

Also surviving is the mother of his children, Rita McCoy.

Moe was a former coal miner with the Justice Blue Diamond Mines and a member of the Justice Miners Association.
