GENERAL LEE SPRADLIN

July 5, 1942 — June 24, 2018

General Lee Spradlin, age 75, husband of Patricia Spradlin of Sawyer, Kentucky, passed away Sunday June 24, 2018 at his home.  He was born on July 5, 1942, to Lawrence and Easter Lettie (Perry) Spradlin.

Lee was a retired logger and a member of Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his garden and traveling. Lee was most noted for growing sweet potatoes throughout the county.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Estil Ray Spradlin and two sisters, Willa Mae Perry and Minnie Pearl Spradlin.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Landrum) Spradlin, two sons: Donald Spradlin and wife Patty of Sawyer and Bradley Spradlin and wife Amanda of Stearns; three daughters Kimberly Warman and husband Clifford of Parkers Lake, Brenda Ridener and husband David of Parkers Lake and Sue Ellen Ridener and husband Daniel of Panama City, Florida; one brother, Donald Perry and wife Annie of Parkers Lake; two sisters: Ellen Goodin and husband Dow and Sue Smith and husband Jerry both of Sawyer. He has several grandchildren: Dustin, Natasha, Dewight, Ashley, Christina, Heather, Andrea, Brandon, D.J., Dakoda, Christopher, Melanie, Breanna, and Kevin along with several great grandchildren: Grace Lynn, Kylee, Mollie, Jamison, Greenlee, Sundae-Grace, John-Luke, Colin, Darius, Caitlyn, Drew, Nora, Maleki, Tuff, Slayed, and Zayden.

Funeral service will be on Friday, June 29, 2018, at 8:00 pm at Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Dan Ridener and Bro. Clifford Warman officiating.  Burial will follow the next morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Sawyer Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 6:oo p.m. Friday evening at the church.
