GLENIVIEVE (SAULS) GOODEN

Glenivieve (Sauls) Gooden, age 69, of Sharonville, Ohio, passed from this life on December 11, 2013, at the Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Freedom Church in Sharonville, Ohio, with Pastor Rob White officiating. Visiting will be from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Pine Knot Funeral Home in Pine Knot, Kentucky, with Pastor Rob White officiating. Internment will be at the Cross Cemetery in Winfield, Tennessee. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnathan Talley, Michael Perdue, Daniel Perdue, Christopher Perdue, Dale Perdue and Barlon Perdue.

Glenivieve was a homemaker and member of the Freedom Church in Sharonville, Ohio.

Born August 23, 1944, in Winfield, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Cozetta (Cross) Sauls. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Genevieve Wright.

Surviving family include her husband Glenn Gooden of Sharonville, Ohio, two daughters Gidget Lee Talley (and husband Matt) of Dothan, Alabama and Ginnell Gooden of Cincinnati, step-daughter Myra Faulkenbury (and David) of Pageland, South Carolina, step-sons Mike Gooden (and Cheryl) of Texas and Kenny Gooden of Virginia. She has one surviving sister, Mary Pearl Neal of Cincinnati. Her grandchildren are Johnathan and Madalynn Talley, step-grandchildren, Teran Faulkenbury and Miranda and Michael Gooden. Nieces are Mary Ann Perdue, Sheila Leach, Sherry Neal and a great nephew Cody Leach.
