GLENN E. COOK

Mr. Glenn E. Cook, age 69, of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011, at the McCreary Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pine Knot.

Funeral services were held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial at the Kingtown Cemetery.

Born May 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Albert and Doris McKinney Cook. Preceding him in death is his wife Wanda "Sis" Duncan Cook who passed away October 13, 2010, his step mother Margaret Ward, a brother Albert Cook, Jr., a sister Marilyn Ann Taylor and several deceased infant brothers and sisters.

Surviving family include a step-son Darrell Duncan of Strunk, brothers Harold Edgard (and Joan) Cook of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Paul Cook of Beaver Dam, James (and Dorothy) Taylor of Oneida, Sammy (and Ollie) Taylor of Petros, Tennessee, Daniel (and Haley) Taylor of Glenmary, Tennessee, Mark (and JoAnn) Taylor of Dalton, Georgia, Larry (and Reda) Taylor of Dalton, Georgia, Tim (and Debbie) Taylor of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, and Billy (and Teresa) Taylor of Chatsworth, Georgia. His sisters are Pinkann Cook of Beaver Dam, Katie Cook of Beaver Dam, Kathy Sue Carson of Huntsville, Tennessee, and Donna Taylor Jones (and fiancAC. David Moss) of Chatsworth, Georgia.

my deepest sympathy to the family. during this time it is hard to know where to go and what to do next because he was so much apart of your life but know that there is a higher power who is holding glenn close until he will see his loved ones again

To the family of Glenn Cook, Our family is very saddened by Glen's death. He was a very fine man who was loved by many. Our sympathies go out to all of the family in this time of sorrow.
