Goldia Sue Davis

Goldia Sue Davis age 81 of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. 

Sue was born in Pine Knot, Kentucky on August 26, 1937 to the late William Clarence Moore and Lydia (Adkins) Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Davis; sisters, Viola Bolton, Laura Belle Creekmore, and Mary Moore Creekmore; brothers, Donald, Floyd, Clarence, and Howard Moore.

Surviving family include her daughter, Judy Lynn Rowe and husband, Jerry, of Pine Knot, Kentucky; a sister, Ruby King of Strunk, Kentucky; grandchildren, Anthony, Ronald, Deja, & Kelly Rowe; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. 

Sue was a member of the David Hill Church of God. In past time she enjoyed gardening, working word and number puzzles, and games on her computer.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. Burial is to follow in the Davis Family Cemetery with Bro. Clay Cook officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
