GRANT NOLAN DANIEL TORKELSON

Little Grant Nolan Daniel Torkelson, the 8 month old son of Jesse and Ashley Stephens Torkelson became one of heaven's angels on Thursday February 28, 2013 Betty Cameron Women and Children's Hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be Monday March 3, 2013 at 1pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Arnold and Rev. Danny Staley officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Grant was born at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on June 5, 2012 to Jesse Daniel and Ashley Brianne Stephens Torkelson. Along with his parents, he is survived by an older sister Vaeya Olyvia Kay Torkelson.

Other survivors include Maternal Grandparents: Randy and April Stephens and Teresa and Roy Bruce.

Maternal Great Grandparents: Jean and Jim Stephens and Betty Jo and Donell Ball, and Darrell and Helen Hughes.

Maternal Great Great Grandparents: Betty Thompson and Gertie Phillips.

Paternal Grandparents were Deborah K. Smith and Thomas Eugene Wiggs, who are both deceased. Tracy and Constantino Martins and Todd Blee.

Paternal Great Grandparents: Katie Smith and the late Calvin Smith as well as Wally and Deloris Wiggs.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of Little Grant Torkelson in his funeral arrangements.
