Jackie "Jack" Wilson age 74 of Strunk, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, June 5, 2023 at his home.

He was born February 14, 1949 in Strunk, Kentucky to the late Loyd Wilson and Elsie (Greene) Wilson. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Charles Rose; a granddaughter, Ashlee Rose; brothers, Jim and Phil Wilson; sisters, Wanda Thompson, Joyce, and Lois Trammell.

Surviving family include his wife, Charlotte (Neal) Wilson whom he married, March 5, 1983; a son, Ronald Slaven (and Lori) of Pine Knot; a daughter, Danielle Neely: grandchildren, Charles Rose (and Tiffany), Michael Slaven (and Autumn), Brittany Braden (and Randell), Brittany Salla, and Mary Stephens (and Kenneth); great-grandchildren, Raylen Ridner, Brantlee Strunk, Gus Ridner, Kendal Rose & soon to be Archie Rose, Seresity Braden, Matthew Salla, Madyson Salla, Isabella Stephens, Destany Stephens, and Kay Kay Privett; and his little dog he loved like a child, Tuckie.

Jack was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and had worked as a custodian for different schools and stores. He was a true "Jack of all trades", always tinkering with different things. He enjoyed yard selling, flea marketing, and working fruit stands. Jack had a true green thumb for gardening and growing things. He loved to joke and tease with people. Jack will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Burke and Bro. Willis Troxell officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray-Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday after 11:00 am until service time.
