James Ray Creekmore

James Ray Creekmore, age 58 of Somerset, formerly of McCreary County passed away on Sunday September 13, 2015 at his home.

Memorial service will held on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 2:00pm at the New Hope Baptist Church.

He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on February 4, 1957, to Herman Duncan and to the late Connie Mary Creekmore.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Angela Creekmore Lamb.

Survivors include his two sons James Creekmore of Whitley City, Kentucky and Jonathan Creekmore and wife Sarah of Somerset, Kentucky; two daughters Patricia Creekmore of Winfield, Tennessee and Shena Creekmore of Whitley City, Kentucky one brother Michael Creekmore and wife Linda of Williamsburg, Kentucky, four sisters Mary Jones and husband Andy of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Doris Allen and husband Steve of Winfield, Tennessee, Judy Salyer of Eubank, Kentucky and Martha Creekmore of Indiana. James is also survived by his five grandchildren Courtney Stephens, Christian Anderson, Jacob Creekmore, Isaac Lyons, and Logan Creekmore; and one great grandchild Conner.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family of James Creekmore with his funeral arrangements.
