James Ray Duncan, Jr.

James Ray Duncan, Jr. age 61 of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, February 27, 2026 in Somerset.

He was born on January 17, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James Ray Duncan and Imogene (Richardson) Duncan.

Surviving family include his brothers, John Duncan (and Sandy) and Randy Duncan; sisters, Shirley Dalton (and Todd) and Gina Meadors (and Donnie); nieces and nephews that he loved as his own children, Jonathon Duncan (and Sarah), Latisha Chitwood (and Theo), Joni Ray (and Barry), Brandon Duncan (and Ariel), Alicia Williamson, Ashley McHenry (and Kirk), Duncan MacDonald, and Courtney Meadors; and a host of additional aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Ray had been a vivid collector of all things, who in past time enjoyed reading and writing. Especially poetry and songs. Ray also enjoyed going to church and as a child, loved playing basketball. His quick-witted and fun personality will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Per his wishes, a Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Silerville Cemetery.
