Jeffery Scott Stephens

Jeffery Scott Stephens age 63 of Whitley City, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, May 8, 2026 at his home. 

He was born on January 15, 1963 in Corbin, Kentucky to Edgar Stephens and Shirley (Goodwin) Stephens. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar; and a best friend, Gary Clark. 

Surviving family include his mother, Shirley Stephens; a brother, Michael Stephens; and a sister, Linda Spradlin and husband, David.

Jeff was a mechanic not only by trade, but by heart. He loved nature, going deer hunting, four-wheeling in the mountains, and camping. He loved his family and his friends. Jeff will be sadly missed. 

Graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Hayes Creek Cemetery with Bro. Tim Corder officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Pine Knot Funeral Home chapel on Monday after 12:00 noon. 

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
