Jerry Lee Cox

Jerry Cox, age 56, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away at his home in Pine Knot, Kentucky on February 19, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Perry and Rev. Bill King officiating. He will be laid to rest at the King Meadows Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 11:00am until funeral time.  Jerry was born in Whitley City, Kentucky, on August 2, 1958, the son of Henry C. and Wilma (King) Cox. Preceding him in death is his parents, Henry C. Cox and Wilma (King) Cox, two brothers Gary Wayne and Darry Ray Cox. Surviving family include, two brothers, Barry (and wife Terri) Cox, Pine Knot and Larry (and wife Carma) Cox of Atlanta, Georgia. Jerry was blessed with and nieces and nephews that he loved. Jerry was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing. He will be sadly missed by all.
