JERRY MICHAEL KIDD

Jerry Michael Kidd, age 59, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Willis and Bro. Steve Stephens officiating.  He will be laid to rest at the Bethel Cemetery in Pine Knot.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time for services at the funeral home.

Mike was born on March 3, 1955, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to the late Junior Kidd and Betty (Angel) Duncan.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Ernest Jr. Kidd and Bruce Wayne Kidd.

Surviving family include three sons; Jeremy (and Jessica) Kidd, London, Kentucky, Jerry Kidd, Cincinnati, Ohio, Shawn Kidd, Manchester, Kentucky, three daughters; Nena (and Roger) Privett, Strunk, Kentucky, Tina (and Shawn) Neal, Strunk, Kelly Kidd, Cincinnati, two sisters; Stachia Angel, Strunk, and Melissa Kidd, Pine Knot, two brothers; Charles (and Tammy) Kidd, Hamilton, Ohio, Bobby Joe Kidd, Strunk, 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
