Joanne King

Joanne Crabtree King age 47 of Strunk, Kentucky passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 20, 1969 to Larry Crabtree and Pandora “Tiny” King. Joanne was a member of the Church of the Living God. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, Joanne enjoyed playing bingo, being outdoors, watching TV, and listening to classic rock music.

Her mother precedes her in death. 

Survivors include her father, Larry Crabtree and wife, Renee; her husband, David “Dino” King; son, Dustin Crabtree (Tiffany) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughters, Brittany Brock (Korey) of Strunk, Kentucky and Tiffany Toth (Tyler Brown) of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, Derek Webb of Oneida, Tennessee, Gary Emby Crabtree (Hope) of North Carolina, and Dakota Crabtree (Amy Waters) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Jessica Blakley (Ryan) of Maryville, Tennessee, Chante Crabtree of Stearns, Kentucky, and Sandy Duncan (John) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Khloe Crabtree, Dylan Schull, and Ryker Douglas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Rollins officiating. Burial to follow in the Silerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
