John Walter Perkins

John Walter Perkins age 64 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Baptist Health of Lexington.

He was born on April 13, 1959 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to the late Carl Perkins and Dorothy (Wells) Perkins. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by an infant brother, James Harold Perkins and sisters, Betty Perkins and Frances Baird.

Surviving family include his sisters, Vivian Neal of Richmond, Indiana and Deanna West (and Wayne) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and several nieces & nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday after 12:00 noon at the Pine Knot Funeral Home.
