KATHLEEN WAGERS

Kathleen Daisy Wagers, age 65, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 2pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon until time for services.  

Kathy was born in Dayton, Kentucky, on August 13, 1948.  Her parents Nelson and Marion (Harbor) Deaton precede her in death.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Earl Wagers who passed away March 29, 2001, and a son, Nelson Wagers.

Surviving family include a son Earl Wagers of Pine Knot, four daughters Nancy Gilreath, Elaine Davis (and Tivous), Tara Combs, Sheila Trammell (and Estil), and Katlynn Combs that she raised as a daughter, all of Pine Knot.  She has one brother; Danny Deaton of Ludlow, Kentucky and three sisters; Elaine Armstrong of Bromley, Kentucky, Darlene Allen of Crescent Springs, Kentucky and Debbie Deaton of Bromley, Kentucky.  She has 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Kathy was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and was a good mother to all.
