Kenneth Allen Kidd, age 66, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at his home in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

He was born in Milford, Ohio, on October 25, 1958, to the late Oscar Lee and Betty Anderson Kidd. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson Garrett Baird, mother-in-law Christine Lay Martin, sisters-in-law: Ellen Martin and Bernice Stephens, brothers-in-law: Dennis Bryant, Lloyd Martin, Mike Dople, Doug Baird, Bill Ball, Lewis Stephens, Bobby Creekmore and Arvis Stephens.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Carol (Martin) Kidd and a son, Mark Allen Kidd and wife Starr. Grandchildren are: Andrew, Logan, Chloe, Taylor, Jared, Ryleigh, Winnie, Branon, Lucas, Jax, and a great grandson, Christian.

Surviving brothers are Ronnie Kidd (Barb), and Keith Kidd (Sharon) a sister, Sharlett Bryant, sisters-in-law: Rosalee Creekmore, Bonnie Stephens, Lena Ball, Wilma Dople, and Paula Martin. There are lots of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Also he had many friends and family, especially a dear cousin Trent and Toni that he was really close to.

Kenneth had worked as an electrician for Sekri and was a self- employed electrician as well. In his spare time he enjoyed going camping and fishing.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at the Pleasant Run Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at 6:00.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
