KIMBERLY ANN STRUNK

Kimberly Ann Strunk, age 40, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed from this life Monday, July 14, 2014, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be Friday July, 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Rodrick Foster officiating.  She will be laid to rest at the Burl King Meadows/Ed Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. 9:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Kim was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on September 1, 1973, to Jerry and Brenda (King) Sumner.  She is survived by her husband Jason Strunk of Pine Knot, a son Jacob Strunk and fiancé Kaity Miller of Pine Knot and daughter Brandi Strunk and fiancé George King of Pine Knot, her parents; Jerry and Brenda Sumner, and a sister Tammie West and Mike of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  She has a nephew Dustin West of Smyrna Tennessee, two nieces; Tiffany Shaver of Smyrna, Tennessee and Katelyn West of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and a great nephew Max Layne Shaver.  Kim was proud to be called a great aunt.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Donna Sumner.

Kim was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed fishing, hunting and four-wheeling.   She was a nurturer by nature and took pleasure in taking care of her family and enjoyed babysitting as well.  She was genuinely loved and will be greatly missed.
