LESLIE SWAIN

February 19, 1954 — December 28, 2007

Mr. Leslie Swain, age 53, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007, at his home in Parkers Lake.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Mike King, Bro. Daniel Ridener ad Bro. Greg Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 a�" 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born on February 19, 1954, he was the son of the late Albert and Carrie Vanover Swain. Also preceding him in death are two brothers Elvis and Edward Swain and a sister Ivory Swain.

Surviving is his wife Bonnie Ridener Swain of Parkers Lake, two daughters Melissa (and Douglas) Ridner and Fonda (and Ralph) Vanover and special daughter Sharon (and Doug) Patrick. There are two sons Leslie "George" Swain (and companion Linda Ross) and Randy (and Ann) Swain. Leslie had three surviving brothers, MacArther Swain and Evert "Jody" Swain both of Parkers Lake and Eddie Allen Swain of Sidney, Ohio. He had five sisters, Faye Griffis of Wiburg, Fontella Ridener, Virginia Jimbo Vanover, Diane Ridener and Joyce Goodin all of Parkers Lake. Leslie and Bonnie were blessed with nine grandchildren, Jacob, Kyle, Dawson, Christian, Devon, Caleb, Bryson, Trevor and Dillian.

Leslie had been self employed having worked in the log woods. He was a member of the Sawyer Baptist Church.
