MARGARET SUE SMITH

Margaret Sue (Loudermilk) Smith, age 71, of Morrow, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at the Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Dixon officiating and music by Loraine and Bryson Loudermilk. Interment will be at the Pine Knot Cemetery. Visiting will be Saturday from 6 a€" 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith worked as an office manager for Clayco Sanitation in Fayetteville, Georgia for over twenty years until they closed. Prior to that, she was a bookkeeper for the Riviera Hotel in Atlanta. She took pleasure in sewing and had been a seamstress for the Hutchinson Dance Academy. She and her husband took pleasure in traveling and enjoyed fishing and camping trips.

Born September 12, 1940 in Whitley City, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Loudermilk and Bernice Clark Stephens. She was married nearly 53 years to Edward Paul Smith who preceded her in death on July 31, 2009. Her father Lawrence Loudermilk is also deceased. Surviving family include a daughter Kathy Rampy of Morrow, Georgia (boyfriend Michael Thomas, Fayetteville, Georgia), her mother Bernice Stephens of Whitley City, a brother Larry Loudermilk and his wife Loraine of Whitley City, two Godchildren; Jennifer Shelby and Summer Stubbs of McDonough, Georgia, a niece Daphne (and George) Loze, nephew Bryson (and Angela) Loudermilk, great nephews and niece Noah, Daniel and Megan Loudermilk.
