MARGARET ANN UNSICKER

Margaret Ann Unsicker, age 69, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Margaret was born January 15, 1946, to the late Darris and Fronia (Privett) Spradlin.   Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gordan Unsicker, three brothers; Jimmy D. Spradlin, Ronnie Spradlin, and Lendell Spradlin, and three sisters; Betty Spradlin, Wanda Spradlin and Delta Spradlin.

Surviving family include four daughters; Rhonda (and Ruben) Jones of Whitley City, Kentucky, Paula Stanley of Oneida, Tennessee, Lori (and Coy) Wright of Winfield, Tennessee, and Mistina Perry of Pine Knot, two step-sons; Glenn Unsicker of Modesto, California and Gordon (and Sabina) Unsicker of LaGrange, California, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister Faye (and Frank) Jefferies of Paulding, Ohio; and a special friend Jerry Roark.

Margaret had worked in mental health services having started the Tenco Center in Pine Knot.  She had worked for Ruben Hicks law office as a paralegal.  She was a member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, writing and was very creative.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2015, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Darris Spradlin Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
