Mark Edward Soard

Mark Edward Soard, age 56, passed from this life on Friday, November 10, 2023 surrounded by his loving family in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

Mark was a carpenter by trade, he attended Marshes Siding Church of God.  He enjoyed fishing, aggravating his children, and spending time with them along with his other family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Soard, brothers; Jimmy Bruce and Shawn Soard, sister; Autumn Soard and nephews; Shawn Helton, Jessie Soard and Mickey Soard.

In addition to his father, James Soard of Stearns, Ky., he is also survived by the mother of his children; Paula Watson Soard of Oneida, Tn., son; Elijah of Somerset, Ky., daughters; Amanda and husband Kevin Patton of Smithtown, Ky., Holly and husband John Polly of Oneida, Tn., Tressa Soard of West Virginia, Jami and husband Jordan Laxton of Knoxville, Tn.,  brothers; Jessie "Scott" Soard, Mike Soard, John Soard, sisters; Layne and husband Rick Wilson of Strunk, Ky., Tammy Soard of Pine Knot, Ky., Sherry and husband Mike Rollins of Pine Knot, Ky., Crystal Sewell and Penny Soard of Whitley City, Ky., Grandchildren; Alyssa Worley, Dan Patton, Nehemiah Patton, Serenity Patton, Brooklyn Patton and Garbriel Reed, numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly along with a special great-nephew; Jax.

Per Marks wishes he will be cremated.

Pine Knot Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Mark Soard.
