MARTHA C. HOOVER

Martha C. Hoover, age 69, of Revelo, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2, at 1:00 p.m. at the Round Top United Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Trammell officiating. Burial will be at the Smith Cemetery at Round Top. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time for services at the church.

Born November 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Gertrude (Meadors) Lay. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Edith Kidd. Surviving family include her son Danny Wayne Vanover (and Cheryl) of Revelo, a daughter Linda Bray (and Doug) of Eubank, two brothers; Hobert Lay, Pine Knot and William (Bill) Lay, Florida, and a sister Lorene Bridges of Alabama. She had four grandchildren: Amanda King, Larry Douglas, Shyann Lynn Vanover and Kala Ann Vanover. She had a great grandchild; Madeline and a deceased great grandchild Xavier.

Martha was a homemaker and member of the Round Top United Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flower gardening, going to the flea market and dining out.
